CLI Tree

ChatImg 0.1.8 uses ChatStyle's shared Click tree runtime to render the real registered command surface. The module entry point and console script both use the public CLI name chatimg as the canonical root.

Default tree

chatimg --tree includes parameter signatures by default:

chatimg --tree-brief keeps the same command nodes and descriptions while omitting parameter signatures:

Boundaries

  • hello is not a ChatImg business interface and must not appear in the public CLI tree.
  • codex is the ChatGPT/Codex OAuth-backed image bridge, not the external Codex CLI.
  • codex reads the ChatEnv OpenAI profile: runtime token-store tokens/OpenAI/<profile>.json wins, and envs/OpenAI/<profile>.env is only the seed/fallback.
  • openai / crs use OPENAI_API_KEY; Images is the default and Responses is explicit. Named profiles are isolated and never fall back to OAuth tokens.
